Formed by a small group of friends in 1993 and still going strong. Our focus is on safe riding and we regularly ride for charities that are near and dear to our hearts. If you are looking for a friendly group of safe bikers who ride on a regular basis come along to a club meeting at the Cleveland Bay (2nd Wednesday of the month) and check us out.

Yarm Motorcycling Club’s weekly ride-outs occur every Sunday during British Summertime and are suitable for all types of bikes and speeds. Other Rides range from a day out to long weekends and european travel.
Come along to our monthly meetings (8pm every 2nd Wednesday) at The Cleveland Bay in Yarm and you’ll meet like minded enthusiasts with a range of interests, from off road riding to road racing and everything in between.

Club Formation
Yarm Motorcycling Club was first formed in January 1993 by a group of 6 friends. The founding members were: Geoff Sadler (Chairman), Ken Smith (Secretary), Burnie Bullock (Treasurer), John Angus (Vice Treasurer), Glyn Jones and Steve Griffiths. All biking enthusiasts who simply wanted a friendly club where like minded people could meet and enjoy ride-outs etc. in the company of other bikers. From that early beginning the club has flourished but still retains the same friendly ideals that it started with. We meet on the 2nd Wednesday of each month at The Cleveland Bay in Yarm where new members are very welcome. There is no criteria for membership, you don’t need to be from Yarm, you don’t even need a bike, you simply need an interest in motorcycling, whether it’s riding or you simply like to talk about bikes.
If you just want to ride in the company of friends then the club meets during British summer time every Sunday at 10:00am at Conyers School for ride-outs on an entirely informal basis with destinations usually by consensus. Many members enjoy yearly trips to Europe and a wealth of experience exists within the club should you wish to broaden your horizons. There’s a great interest within the club for all forms of motorcycle racing with regular trips being made to Northern Ireland, the Isle of Mann TT, British Superbikes, World Superbikes, MotoGP as well as our two local venues; Oliver’s Mount and Croft
